Bromo is incredible beautiful! You will amaze seeing the fascination of sunrise in Bromo. You won't ever forget the beautiful landscape and view of Bromo, the wide sea of sand on the mountain, the smell of sulphur at the crater, the beautiful Hindu's temple and many more! You will also see the beautiful view with cloud of smoke over the mountain near from the crater of Bromo. Inside the crater constantly belches white sulphurous smoke. It has diameter ± 800 meter (north-south) and ± 600 meter (east-west).
This is one of favorite view for tourist, although it's a dangerous part of area. That's why the local government makes the border line near from the crater for safety reason.
Before you get to crater, you have to hire a jeep to mountainside. Many of Tenggerese, Hindu communities on the island of Java, will also offer horseback rides from mountainside to the top of Mount Bromo. The choices are yours. You can horseback ride or hire jeep to take you around the area or walk if you possibly can. Remember the mount Bromo is surrounded by sea of sand of fine volcanic sand.
